Product Information

With a full plate, you may struggle to find a moment to think about your individual needs. But looking after your health remains a top priority. Formulated by leading nutritional experts, Multi-Max Woman 50+ contains a blend of vitamins, minerals, herbs, and plant extracts to support the changing needs of women over 50.

Heart health

As you enter menopause, your heart health becomes even more important. Our multivitamins for women over 50 Multi-Max® Woman 50+ supplies generous amounts of vitamin B1, which supports normal heart function. It also delivers a high-strength combination of folic acid (vitamin B9 – also known as folate), vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 for normal red blood cell formation. These B vitamins provide additional support for the regulation of the amino acid, homocysteine. High levels of homocysteine are associated with cardiovascular problems, making these nutrients an excellent addition to a heart-healthy lifestyle.

Navigating a busy schedule can be exhausting. Our advanced formula contains good amounts of iron and B vitamins (B5, B6, B12, and folic acid) to support the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, ensuring there's enough in the tank for you and everything else going on.

Bone health

Since menopausal women are at an increased risk of lower bone density, looking after your bones is essential. Multi-Max® Woman 50+ contains 120mg of vitamin C for normal collagen formation, which plays a role in bone health, together with vitamin D3 for the maintenance of normal bones.

To give your natural defences a leg up, Multi-Max® Woman 50+ provides 10μg of vitamin D in the preferred, highly absorbable form of D3, cholecalciferol, a level recommended by the Department of Health, along with vitamin C and selenium to support the normal function of the immune system.

This multivitamin for women over 50 provides generous levels of vitamin B6 for normal mental performance, as well as 15mg of zinc and 150μg of iodine, 100% of the NRV (Nutrient Reference Value), to support cognitive function. We’ve also included 2mg of pure, sustainably sourced, free-form lutein (twice the level described as lutein esters), one of the most important carotenoids, found in concentrated levels in the brain. The addition of turmeric extract, a popular spice, provides extra support.

To support eye health through your 50’s, our comprehensive formula combines 800μg of vitamin A (100% NRV) and a good amount of zinc to support normal vision with lutein, which is also found in the eyes.

Oxidative stress

Environmental stressors, like pollution and UV exposure, can affect your health over time. Our advanced formula contains high-strength grapeseed and rosemary, both of which contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

We've provided Multi-Max® Woman 50+ in vegetarian-friendly tablets instead of capsules to accommodate all the keynote nutrients in our one-a-day multivitamin for women over 50. formula. For quality purposes, it's manufactured and packaged in UK factories working to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Frequently Asked Questions (6)
Q - "Why Have You Stopped Multimax Advance?"
Happily used Multimas Advance for me and my husband, for many many years, and the nearest replacement for me is Multimax Woman 50+ but it doesn't include the previous 100mg of Calcium, even though you talk about Bone Health!! Is there any reason why I can't add 1 tablet of Osteoguard original daily with the Multimax Woman 50+? Although, it's rather annoying to have to pay for two supplements and take two tablets daily instead of one. I will also now have to buy something different for my husband too...grrr! Bring back Multimax Advance please!!
A - Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

Multi-Max Woman 50+ is exactly the same formula as Multi-Max Advance, apart from the green tea. Multi-Max Woman 50+ no longer contains green tea extract. Multi-Max Woman 50+ still contains 100mg of calcium, and 50mg of magnesium, however they are not listed on the formula as they are below 15% of the Nutrient Reference Value (NRV), and so are deemed nutritionally insignificant. You can still add 1 tablet of Osteoguard Original to Multi-Max Woman 50+. There is also no reason why your husband cannot take this formula, despite the name. I have contacted you separately to discuss this further.
Q - "Why Is There No Calcium, Magnesium Or Potassium In Multi-Max Women 50+?"
Verified Purchase
A - Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The Multi Max Woman does contain calcium and magnesium, but these are at small levels and not enough to meet 15% of the Nutrient Reference Value, so we do not list them on the formula. We do not supply a potassium supplement as the upper permitted level for supplements is 99mg. As the NRV (Nutrient Reference Value) for this mineral is 3500mg, this is only a very small percentage, and a supplement will not make a significant contribution to potassium intake. I hope this is useful, please let us know if you have any further questions.
Q - "Why Is There No Vitamin K In Multi-Max® Woman 50+?"
A - Many of our 50+ customers are advised not to take vitamin K, so it's not included in this formula.
Q - "Why Does Multi-Max® Woman 50+ Contain Iron?"
A - Iron is a nutrient which is still required by those aged 50+, but normally at a lower level.
Q - "Why Does Multi-Max® Woman 50+ Contain A Lower Level Of Iron Than Your Other Multivitamins?"
A - As we age our requirement for iron decreases.

I’ve been using Natures Best products for several years and I wouldn’t shop anywhere else. I’ve used Multi-Max multi vitamins for quite some time. They work well for me and I have no doubt in recommending them. Thank you Natures Best!

"Multivitamin For The Over 50 Woman"
By Alison , 11 Nov 2023
I have been taking a multivitamin 1 a day for years and these are new to me. I have just started taking them in the last 2 -3 weeks.
I wanted a multivitamin without magnesium as I take that in a separate tablet (to ensure I get a high/full dosage)
These have everything else that I require and as I'm now 56, I hope these suit me well.
Too soon to comment further, but I have used natures best supplements for a long time now and I always find they are good quality.
They are not the cheapest but I believe buy the best you can afford.

"Excellent Viitamin & Mineral Supplement"

I''m over 50 with all the associated issues of ladies my age, but prefer to use natural products (if I can) to cope -rather than me***ines /h*t etc. I was looking for a product which contains specific amounts of specific minerals to save me taking multiple supplements. This one does, and it''s worked perfectly for me. A trusted brand too, and very supportive of health issues, with a mini magazine sent out with the tablets and subsequently on a regular basis. Just what I needed!
