Eyewise Advance with Lutein & Zeaxanthin - Supplement for Eyes

Our most comprehensive eye health supplement, Eyewise® Advance, combines the nutritional qualities of lutein and zeaxanthin with highly concentrated levels of vitamin D3 and responsibly sourced Omega-3 fish oil.

Lutein and zeaxanthin are found in large concentrations in the macular of the eye, the part of the retina responsible for vision, where they form 'macular pigments'.

In the UK, the average daily diet provides around 1-2mg of Lutein. However, the latest research suggests we all need at least 10mg each day. Our one-a-day formula contains 20mg of pure lutein, derived from marigolds, the most purified, natural and sustainable sources available.

Lutein works synergistically with another carotenoid, zeaxanthin, which we've included at 1000µg.

Our lutein and zeaxanthin capsules also contain useful amounts of vitamin D, in the highly bioavailable D3 form at 100% of the Nutrient Reference Value (NRV), which contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Perhaps most notably, Eyewise® Advance delivers the perfect ratio of two Omega-3 fatty acids found in fish oil, DHA at 250mg* and EPA at 56mg, which have been shown to contribute to the maintenance of normal vision.*

Eyewise® Advance is made in UK factories working to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Our fish oil has also achieved certification by Friend of the Sea®, demonstrating our commitment to sustainably sourcing our raw materials.

Eyewise® Advance comes in easy-to-swallow capsules, as fish oil and vitamin D3 are better absorbed in an oil-based formula - soft-gel casing is the most suitable format.

Since we use fish oil in this formula, it's not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. If you're looking for a plant-based alternative, you could try Eyewise® Original instead.

What do Omega-3 fatty acids contribute to?

The long-chain Omega 3 fatty acids, EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) are vitally important to health. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision* and brain function.* Both DHA and EPA contribute to the normal function of the heart** and the maintenance of normal blood pressure.***

What does vitamin D3 contribute to?

Vitamin D3 contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, teeth, and muscle function and the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium/ phosphorus. It also contributes to normal cell division, the normal function of the immune system.
