- Whole cranberries not halves or slices.
- Dried as whole berries not by extracting the juice.
- Eat straight from the pack or use in recipes.
Dried cranberries, with just a little sugar added, not so much as to spoil the delicious slightly tart flavour but just enough to make them a delight to snack straight from the bag. The flavour of these berries is intensified by the drying process as they are dried not by extracting the juice so they are really easy and economical to use in any number of recipes – not just the famous cranberry sauce but they do make an excellent one.
Eaten on their own or used in combination with other fruits and nuts they are an excellent source of fibre, manganese, vitamins K and C.
