Our Super Strength Artichoke 7425mg tablets, formerly Ibisene®, contains a high potency standardised extract derived from artichoke leaves. It's the leaves that contain the unique active compound, cynarin, and each tablet contains 16mg cynarin, a level consistent with published studies.
Globe artichoke has been used for centuries in traditional medicine to aid digestion and our Artichoke product contains a guaranteed level of cynarin. This compound is believed to be responsible for many of the benefits of this herb and each of our tablets provides a full 16mg (from over 8g of fresh artichoke), a level which is consistent with the clinical studies which have used artichoke leaf extract.
Artichoke is thought to be useful for stimulating the production of bile and other digestive juices and this means it is often recommended to support fat digestion, after a particularly large or rich meal. It can also be used in conjunction with a product such as Flourishe, as it may also help to maintain bowel regularity.!

Daily Intake

Why do you use this product Artichoke (Ibisene®) ?
A friend recommended this to me as I often struggle to digest fats easily and since taking this it is much better. I would recommend to other people as it definitely works.
