Chewable Calcium

Chewable Calcium 400mg is an easy way to optimise intake of calcium, with each chewable tablet providing a full 400mg per tablet together with 1 gram of FOS (Fructo-oligosaccharides), a special type of soluble fibre. We’ve also included 2.5µg of chewable vitamin D, an important addition as it contributes to the normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and the maintenance of normal bones

Most manufacturers use sugar in their chewable formulas, but we've added FOS to our chewable calcium tablets for natural sweetness. FOS is a natural material extracted from chicory root that doesn’t cause tooth decay. We’ve also used a natural lemon flavouring, which continues to top our taste tests.

We’ve chosen to formulate our Chewable Calcium 400mg in easy-to-swallow , chewable tablets, making them suitable for children over four, who can’t yet swallow larger capsules.

Unlike many other companies, we manufacture and package our chewable vitamin D and calcium tablets in UK factories working to strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to ensure our quality standards are always met.

What may chewable calcium and vitamin D3 tablets contribute to?

Calcium and vitamin D are needed for the normal growth and development of bone in children.

Vitamin D3, meanwhile, contributes to the normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, normal blood calcium levels, and the maintenance of normal bones. Vitamin D3 also contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function, and the normal function of the immune system, and has a role in cell division.
