Product Information
L-Ascorbic acid powder is the scientific name for Vitamin C and this pure powdered crystal form is the most economical way to buy Vitamin C. It is also the easiest to use as it can be added to drinks where it is fast dissolving. This non-GMO product has a refreshing sharp taste similar to acidic fruits such as lemons and limes, and can be used to sharpen the taste of drinks such as squashes.
This product is a great way to take a lot of Vitamin C without having to swallow loads of tablets. We always recommend that any one taking high daily intakes of Vitamin C should divide their intake in to several small doses throughout the day. This minimises the risk of gastric upset, and importantly helps to ensure that blood levels are kept constantly high.

Daily Intake
Adults: Take 1 to 2 grams daily. 1/4 teaspoon = 1 gram.
Children aged 10 years and over: Take 1⁄8 teaspoon daily = 500mg.
Do not exceed recommended daily dose.
This Vitamin C is most effectively absorbed when taken with food. It can easily be stirred into drinks (kids won’t notice!), taken with water or sprinkled onto food. Powders are particularly useful for those who wish to take large amounts of vitamin C, or those who find tablets difficult to swallow.
Food supplements should not replace a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

I reviewed this 2 days ago, not a positive review, but I had an email from Natures Best making great suggestions on how to take the Vitamin C. I took the advice and the product is now much easier to take.
I am so impressed with the speed and the advice I was given, that I am happy to change my review. I will definitely be using this company again. Well done Natures Best.

I am in agreement with the review 10 December 2020 'Curdles Milk'. Disappointed that you replied to privately to discuss it with the customer, as I also am struggling to take the powder, and your reply would have helped me in taking the powder.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
I am sorry to hear that you are struggling to take this. We advise dissolving this in water or fruit juice, as this may not mix well with milk as it is an acidic product. I have contacted you directly to discuss it further.
