Vitamin A has many broad-spectrum uses, playing a role in skin health, mucous membranes, vision, immunity and iron metabolism. Nutritionists often recommend a vitamin A supplement if you have a low dietary intake of animal-based foods, like cheese, eggs, oily fish, liver, milk and yoghurt.
Our high-performance vitamin A supplement provides 5000iu of a stabilised form of vitamin A called palmitate. If your diet contains little to no vitamin A, we recommend two capsules daily. However, if you eat plenty of the aforementioned foods or already take a multivitamin with vitamin A, one a day will be sufficient.
We’ve provided our vitamin A in the palmitate form. Unlike some other forms of vitamin A, palmitate is a retinoid (retinol), a highly bioavailable substance, meaning it’s easily absorbed into the body and can be used more efficiently.
Since vitamin A is fat-soluble, we’ve suspended our formula in sunflower seed oil for maximum absorption. Soft-gel capsules are better suited to oil-based materials, which is why we’ve chosen to use them over tablets.
Our vitamin A supplement is manufactured and packaged in UK factories working to strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
This product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
