Product Information

With work, personal goals, and family commitments, it’s easy for healthy choices to come last on the to-do list. Designed by leading nutrition experts, this multivitamin for women, complements the needs of modern life and provides all-round support to the areas of health most relevant to women.

Female health

The hormonal, psychological, and physical changes associated with your monthly cycle can feel exhausting at times. Multi-Max® Woman contains a generous amount of vitamin B6 in the active Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate (P5P) body-ready form for the regulation of hormonal activity. We’ve also provided 250mg of magnesium, which supports psychological, nervous system, and muscle function, including the uterine muscle, making it a popular choice for female health.

Our multivitamin for women delivers an additional 15mg of iron, in the popular ferrous form, at 100% of the NRV (Nutrient Reference Value) to replace monthly loss via menstruation, an especially important consideration if you eat little to no red meat. Iron, crucially, contributes to the formation of haemoglobin and red blood cells. Multi-Max® Woman also includes 400µg of folic acid and calcium-l-methylfolate, a bioavailable form of folate (vitamin B9 – also known as folate), which is better absorbed. Being one of the B vitamins, folic acid supports normal blood formation and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Energy

To keep all the balls in the air, you need enough fuel in the tank. Multi-Max® Woman provides an relevant spread of B vitamins (B5, B6, B12, and folic acid), magnesium, and iron to support the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. It also contains high-strength chromium for the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels, which helps balance energy reserves between meals.

Immunity

Long days and busy schedules can often mean the immune system needs some extra TLC. Our multivitamin for women delivers 10μg of vitamin D — in the preferred, highly absorbable form of D3, cholecalciferol, the level recommended by the Department of Health, along with relevant amounts of selenium and vitamin C to support immune function.

Bones

Multi-Max® Woman contains a good level of vitamin D3, which supports bone maintenance, as well as the absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, two minerals found in bones. We’ve also included vitamin K, which helps the body utilise calcium, and magnesium for additional support.

Skin, hair and nails

Stress, poor sleep, and environmental stressors, like UV exposure, can affect your complexion. Our advanced formula provides 15mg zinc (150% NRV) for hair, skin, and nails, as well as 700μg of vitamin A to support the maintenance of normal skin — an ideal multivitamin for women.

We've provided Multi-Max® Woman in vegetarian-friendly tablets instead of capsules to accommodate all the keynote nutrients in our two-a-day formula. For quality purposes, Multi Max® Woman is manufactured and packaged in UK factories working to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

"Turns Urine Greenish Teal"
By RA , 20 Nov 2023
Not sure how much it has helped yet, but I did notice that as soon as I started on this, my urine turned a beautiful blue green....

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

Taking B vitamins, such as vitamin B2 and B12, can cause urine to change colour, such as bright yellow or fluorescent green in colour as you have described. This is harmless to the body and is nothing to be alarmed about. B vitamins are water soluble vitamins and this just shows that you are processing them properly. However, I have contacted you separately to discuss this further.

"Why Doesn'T This Contain Calcium??"
By Komal , 17 Nov 2023
4 months I've been taking this thinking it'll have calcium but it doesn't and now my nails have ridges on. Who knows what my bones must look like

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

Multi-Max Woman contains 100mg of calcium, however it is not listed on the label as it is below 15% of the Nutrient Reference Value (NRV), and is therefore not deemed nutritionally significant. I have contacted you separately to discuss this further.

"Unfortunately I Experienced Side Effects"

I found this multi vitamin whilst looking for a magnesium supplement, as I'd realised I was likely magnesium deficient. I thought Multi Max Woman sounded ideal, as in addition to magnesium, it contained all the vitamins a woman's body needs for a healthy monthly cycle. I did feel I was boosting my health and energy by taking it, however, I've unfortunately had to stop taking it after 5 months of triggering severe hormonal acne during menstruation, which was totally new to me. Within hours I'd go from calm skin to my face, neck, shoulders, back and arms being inflamed with hot, itchy, oozing, uncomfortable and unsightly acne. I now know this is fairly common from multivitamins containing Vitamin B12.
Nature's Best have been extremely helpful and refunded me and I'm now taking some plain magnesium supplements, which I was originally going for anyway.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am sorry to hear you had this experience with the Multi Max Woman. This is certainly not something we would expect. I am pleased to hear we have sorted you a refund and you have an alternative option.

"Price Increase By More Than 20%"
By AC , 10 Oct 2023

I love Nature's Best products and I found most multivitamins quite helpful, but I do not understand a price increase by more than 20% within a few months. I have had this item on hold for a while and in July this product was 23 pounds., but now it is 28.90. On the other hand the multivitamins for men were more expensive, 17.50 but now they are 15.95. If it is not discrimination, what is it? Why must women's vitamins be ways more expensive than those for men? Very disappointing.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

Currently, Multi-Max Woman is £15.95 for 120 tablets, and Multi-Max Man is £15.95 for 90 tablets. The price of £28.50 you mention is for 2 pots of Multi-Max Woman with a multi-buy saving of £3. We are not running a multi-buy promotion on the Multi-Max Man at the moment unfortunately. We have introduced the multi-buy saving for the Multi-Max Woman to address the different fill size, and the 2-a-day dosage compared to 1-a-day for Multi-Max Man.

Multi-Max Woman does contain more magnesium than Multi-Max Man that is correct, however there are more differences in the formulas than just the magnesium content. Multi-Max Man contains additional nutrients: Molybdenum, ORAC Blend, Choline Bitartrate, Inositol, Rutin and PABA. Multi-Max Woman is higher in iron to support menstrual losses and contains vitamin B6 in the P5P form, which is the active form ready for absorption for hormone regulation. In comparison, Multi-Max Man contains higher selenium for spermatogenesis, higher B vitamins for energy production and cognitive function and as mentioned, contains the ORAC Blend, providing antioxidants which are not suitable during pregnancy.

As Multi-Max Man and Multi-Max Woman have different formulas, this has resulted in a price difference as we must factor in the price of the raw materials. For example, using the P5P form of B6 for Multi-Max Woman does increase the price of the product, as the raw material is more expensive than the non P5P form found in Multi-Max Man.

We have also contacted you by email about this matter.
