The amino acid profile of pea protein is excellent - it is rich in 'branched chain amino acids' (leucine, isoleucine, valine) and is richer in arginine than any other commercially available protein. It is unsweetened and has a mild, pleasant, slightly savoury taste. Perfect for soups, sprinkled on cereal, mixed into stews or blend into a milkshake.
I use it generally for adding more protein in the body. But in the main after working out at the gym or doing any activities like riding the bike. I find the taste okay and also mix juices at times. It mixes easily and I'm very happy with this product.
I have fibromyalgia and this was one product recommended. I try and have a shake or two with it every day and it does boost my energy. It's the purest form I could find.
As a dedicated Vegan I find this product excellent for ensuring I have enough protein in my daily diet. I use it with my morning muesli.
I use this as an extra source of protein in soups - it is easy to absorb and has no gluten or lactose .
