Product Information

This is ideal for anyone who wants to boost their protein intake and who wants an easy-to-digest high quality protein, rich in essential amino acids. This is a vegetable sourced protein (which doesn't include soya) that is milk and egg free.

The amino acid profile of pea protein is excellent - it is rich in 'branched chain amino acids' (leucine, isoleucine, valine) and is richer in arginine than any other commercially available protein. It is unsweetened and has a mild, pleasant, slightly savoury taste. Perfect for soups, sprinkled on cereal, mixed into stews or blend into a milkshake.

Daily Intake
A 20g portion of this product is generally recommended and can be measured out as two heaped dessertspoons. Do not exceed recommended daily dose.

"Excellent flavour"
By Anonymous , 03 Nov 2019
As a vegetarian I''m not sure I get the right amount of protein that I need so decided to look at protein powders. I didn''t really fancy a whey protein so I thought I''d try this pea protein. It is absolutely delicious and just as nutritious as other types of protein. It dissolves easily into anything you choose. I use it in smoothies and soups mainly. It has a very mild pea taste so if using in smoothies, add plenty of berries or better still use it in a green smoothie with avocado, etc. I love making my own soups and this pea protein actually enhances the flavour. I just add the recommended amount to my soup per portion (not when I cook it). I''m so glad I tried this. It''s now something I will always use.

"This product has been beneficial for me"
By Aileen Lightbody , 14 Jun 2019
I''m 76 and because of gastric problems I don''t eat as much or perhaps as well as I should, although I do try to make my meals as nourishing as possible. GP prescribed Complan - useless! - to give me a boost and also I think I''m slightly sensitive to whey, so I thought I''d give Pea Protein a try. I haven''t been taking it for very long but already I can feel improvements in my energy levels. As it''s tasteless I just mix it in with water and add a little orange squash, but you can add it to anything you want - soups, porridge and even baking.
