Product Information

This is ideal for anyone who wants to boost their protein intake and who wants an easy-to-digest high quality protein, rich in essential amino acids. This is a vegetable sourced protein (which doesn't include soya) that is milk and egg free.

The amino acid profile of pea protein is excellent - it is rich in 'branched chain amino acids' (leucine, isoleucine, valine) and is richer in arginine than any other commercially available protein. It is unsweetened and has a mild, pleasant, slightly savoury taste. Perfect for soups, sprinkled on cereal, mixed into stews or blend into a milkshake.

Daily Intake
A 20g portion of this product is generally recommended and can be measured out as two heaped dessertspoons. Do not exceed recommended daily dose.

It free from the best stuff and eady to mix. I have soy and wheat intolerance and i found that most vegetarian protein powders have other added bits that didnt like.
Quick delivery and reasonably priced. I use it in my porridge, soups, smoothies and baking muffins.

Given what is now known about the effects of artificial sweetners it amazes me that other health food (HA!) protein powders use them.

I like to make sure I get enough protein so add a desert spoon of this to my porridge in the morning. The taste is mildly pleasant which I wasn''t expecting. The price is excellent with the 750g tub working out several times cheaper than what you''d pay in Holland & Barrett for example. What is particularly impressive is the fast delivery - I ordered two tubs just before the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown and thought that was the last I''d see of my money but the two tubs arrived 6 days later.

"Excellent flavour"

As a vegetarian I''m not sure I get the right amount of protein that I need so decided to look at protein powders. I didn''t really fancy a whey protein so I thought I''d try this pea protein. It is absolutely delicious and just as nutritious as other types of protein. It dissolves easily into anything you choose. I use it in smoothies and soups mainly. It has a very mild pea taste so if using in smoothies, add plenty of berries or better still use it in a green smoothie with avocado, etc. I love making my own soups and this pea protein actually enhances the flavour. I just add the recommended amount to my soup per portion (not when I cook it). I''m so glad I tried this. It''s now something I will always use.
