Product Information

Our Rutin and Vitamin C 500mg tablets contain natural bioflavonoids rutin (50mg) and hesperidin (30mg). Plus 500mg of vitamin C in each tablet.

The rutin we use is extracted from buckwheat and hesperidin from citrus fruit skins. According to research, these two bioflavonoids are often found in association with vitamin C.

Vitamin C is well known for supporting general health and wellbeing. It is particularly popular during the winter season. Vitamin C is an important nutrient for supporting the immune system. It is also helpful in maintaining energy levels, and normal psychological function.

Vitamin C is an antioxidant and can be found in tomatoes, kiwi fruits, oranges, and broccoli.

What does vitamin C contribute to?

  • Normal collagen formation; gums, skin, bones, blood vessels
  • Normal function of cartilage (the tough tissue lining joints)
  • Normal function of the immune system
  • Protection of cells from oxidative stress
  • Normal psychological function
  • The reduction of tiredness and fatigue

We've chosen to deliver our Rutin and Vitamin C 500mg as tablets not capsules since this format can accommodate a higher dose of the active ingredients.

doe the vitamin C release slowly over 6 to 8 hours as other Vitamin C.I been taking 1000 mg but felt it made feel queasy would the 500mg suit me better.
A - Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am sorry to hear of the symptoms you experienced. This is not something we would expect. Slow release means that the vitamin C will be released over a number of hours, which is thought to be useful for absorption purposes. I have contacted you separately about this matter.
Q - "Where Is Rutin Sourced From In Rutin And Vitamin C 500Mg?"
A - The rutin we use is derived from naturally sourced buckwheat, not synthetic form.
Q - "Where Does Hesperidin Come From In Rutin And Vitamin C 500Mg?"
A - Hesperidin is a flavonoid from citrus fruits. Fruits are selected on seasonality and availability.
Q - "What Form Of Vitamin C Do You Use In Rutin And Vitamin C 500Mg?"
A - We use the L-Ascorbic acid form of vitamin C as this is the most bioavailable form.
Q - "Where Is The Vitamin C In Rutin And Vitamin C 500Mg Sourced From?"
A - We use the ascorbic acid form, which is naturally fermented from glucose derived from corn.

It’s not often you find vitamin C with rutin and hersperidin, so I was delighted to find this. They’re important components in efficacy, in my opinion, so I will keep on getting it ??
