Matcha tea differs from traditional green tea. The tea leaves are covered two weeks before being picked, increasing the chlorophyll and making them vibrantly green. The leaves are then dried, slowly stone-ground into a fine powder, and sealed to lock in all the goodness.
Matcha tea is loaded with components of super antioxidant activity, including polyphenols, catechins and chlorophyll, as well as l-theanine and manganese. It also contains amino acids and dietary fibre.
Mild, smooth, and naturally low in caffeine, Greens Organic Matcha Tea is the perfect alternative to your go-to hot beverage. Simply dissolve half a teaspoon with water and pour over steamed milk.
