    Each easy-to-swallow, taste-free capsule provides an impressive 25µg (500%) vitamin D3 and 90µg (120% NRV) vitamin K2, both of which work synergistically in the body and contribute to the maintenance of normal bones.

    What do vitamin D3 and K2 contribute to?

    - Vitamin D3 contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, teeth, muscle function and the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium/ phosphorus.     Our bodies obtain vitamin K as vitamin K1 (phylloquinone), found in green leafy vegetables, and vitamin K2 (menaquinone), which is naturally produced by the live bacteria in our digestive tract. The body absorbs vitamin K2 better than K1, so we choose to use it in this formula.

    Vitamin K2 (menaquinone) exists in two forms: synthetic MK-4 and natural MK-7. Published studies suggest natural MK-7 is more bioavailable (readily absorbed) than synthetic MK-4. Manufactured using a unique extraction process, our vitamin K2 derives from chickpea protein, not soya (for people who need to avoid soya), our formula contains pure, natural, full-spectrum MK-7.

    We encapsulate our high-strength formula in small capsules not tablets to further aid absorption. We've suspended vitamin D3 and K2 in sunflower oil, along with rosemary extract and vitamin E, to keep it fresh and stable.

    To meet our strict quality standards, we manufacture and package our formulas in UK factories working to strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

    * Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), the form of vitamin D most used in published studies. Sourced from the lanolin content of wool, the material undergoes further processing to ensure an extremely pure and crystalline pre-vitamin D3 material. Through exposure to uv light (the same process our bodies use to manufacture vitamin D from sunlight), a highly stable form of vitamin D3 is manufactured.
    Our Vegan Vitamin D3 supplement contains cholecalciferol sourced from plant lichen.

    Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We try to make as many supplements as possible suitable for vegetarians. Carageenan is an excellent alternative to gelatin and is used in the manufacture of vegetarian soft gel capsules. It is derived from seaweed and is approved in use for foods by regulatory bodies and also has a long history of use in food products, generally as a gelling and thickening agent.
