Product Information

Pea protein powder is a super way to boost your daily protein intake, by adding the powder on to foods. This is ideal for anyone who wants to boost their protein intake and who wants an easy-to-digest high quality protein, rich in essential amino acids. This is a vegetable sourced protein (which doesn't include soya) that is milk and egg free. It is made from peas and by a clever process of extraction and purification the protein is concentrated from the normal level of 6% in fresh peas to 80% in this product.

The amino acid profile of pea protein is excellent - it is rich in 'branched chain amino acids' (leucine, isoleucine, valine) and is richer in arginine than any other commercially available protein. It is unsweetened and has a mild, pleasant, slightly savoury taste. Perfect for soups, sprinkled on cereal, mixed into stews or blend into a milkshake. Sports enthusiasts: Muscle mass can only be increased if the diet provides enough protein. Slimmers: Use this product to enhance the protein content of meals. This will keep you feeling fuller for longer. Low appetite or recovering from illness: This product gives an excellent boost to your protein intake.

Based on using Whey proteins previously i decided give the PEA Protein a go as the Whey i use previously as i get older is starting to give me bloating.

The powder i mix 2 table spoonfuls of Pea protein into two scoops of porridge dry then add a cupful of water as the porridge mix cooks it gets thick really quickly and you will need to add more water until youre mix is at your required solution i also add a spoonful of Manuka Honey which takes the hint of pea taste of the mix

As a vegan, I want to get the correct level of protein to be healthy. I find this product very beneficial as it gives 16gr of protein per 20gr of powder. It is also easy on the stomach. I add 20gr of powder to my morning smoothie, which sets me up for the day. I also lasts a while.

I switched to pea protein when I noticed bloating and other issues around using whey products.. I specifically use Natures Best because I trust the brand having used their muti-vitamins and other supplements for some years

Why do you use this product Pea Protein ?
I am hoping this will build up some muscle strength which seems to be diminishing as I grow older. The powder mixes easily, even with a spoon, into other beveridges and soups.
