Stugeron 15 Tablets have been formulated for the prevention of travel sickness.
Stugeron 15 Tablets contain the active ingredient cinnarizine, which belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines. Cinnarizine helps prevent and relieve the symptoms of motion sickness by blocking the actions of a chemical called histamine. The vestibular system contributes to balance and provides continual feedback to the brain about the body’s movement and overall position. When the vestibular system is disturbed by factors such as travelling by boat or car, nerve signals travel from the vestibular system to the vomiting centre. This can cause an array of sensations which include dizziness, nausea and the reflex of vomiting. Stugeron 15’s active ingredient, cinnarizine, relieves symptoms of balance and movement problems such as dizziness, vertigo, nausea and vomiting, and inner ear disorders such as Meniere's disease.
