Product Information
Anusol Ointment is a medicine which is used to relieve the swelling, itching and irritation of internal and external piles (haemorrhoids) and other minor ano-rectal conditions such as anal itching and fissures. It can be used post-operatively following ano-rectal surgery.
Anusol Ointment contains three active ingredients. Zinc Oxide which is an astringent which soothes and protects raw areas and helps reduce swelling. It also acts as an antiseptic. Balsam Peru which is a mildly antiseptic and has a protective action on sore areas and may help healing. Bismuth Salts which is an astringent and antiseptic and also protects raw, irritated areas around the anal area.

Balsam peru is a mild antiseptic which has a protective action on sore areas and may help healing. Bismuth salts act as both an astringent and antiseptic. They work by protecting raw, irritated areas around the anal area.
Usage

Ingredients
Zinc Oxide. Bismuth Subgallate. Balsam Peru. Bismuth Oxide. Magnesium Stearate. Cocoa Butter. Lanolin Anhydrous. Castor Oil. Kaolin Light. Petroleum Jelly White.Adults: Cleanse the affected area, dry, and apply ointment on a gauze dressing. Use sparingly at night, in the morning and after each bowel movement (up to 4 applications per day). For internal conditions use the rectal nozzle provided and clean after each use. Do not use for longer than 7 consecutive days

Suitable for adults only.
Cautions/Allergies
Not suitable for children, keep out of their sight & reach. Do not use for more than 7 days unless directed by a medical practitioner. If symptoms persist or you experience side effects, stop use and seek medical consultation. Do not use after the expiry date.
