Product Information
Savlon Antiseptic Cream cleanses and treats cuts, grazes and other minor wounds, as well as chapped skin, spots and blackheads, to help prevent infection. It also helps stop shaving cuts, blisters and sores from becoming infected, and can be used as a first aid treatment for superficial burns and scalds. You can use Savlon Antiseptic Cream to treat nappy rash and sunburn too, and it can even be used as an antiseptic hand cream.
To use Savlon Antiseptic Cream, clean and dry the affected area of skin well and apply a small amount of the cream using clean hands.
Always store out of the sight and reach of children and pets. Use within 12 months of opening. For external use only.
Description
Savlon Antiseptic Cream is suitable for both adults and children, and is a first aid treatment for broken skin as well as a variety of other skin problems.
Usage
Directions: With clean hands gently apply cream to the affected area.
Ingredients
Active ingredients: Cetrimide 0.5% w/w & Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.1% w/w, Also contains: Cetostearyl Alcohol, Liquid Paraffin, Methylhydroxybenzoate (E218), Propylhydroxybenzoate (E216), Disodium Edetate, Perfume & Purified Water
Cautions/Allergies
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, especially Chlorhexidine as it may cause allergic reactions. Cetostearyl alcohol may cause local skin reactions. Parahydroxybenzoates may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).

Do not use on the eyes or ears.
USE THIS MEDICINE ONLY ON YOUR SKIN
STOP using and seek medical help immediately if you have any of the following very rare allergic reactions: difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, tongue or throat, dizziness, skin irritation or rash. If you experience these or other side effects, stop using and seek medical advice.
