Germolene Antiseptic Cream is a non-greasy, local anaesthetic used to ease pain and help prevent infections of minor cuts and grazes, minor burns, scalds, blisters, stings and insect bites, spots and chapped or rough skin.
Germolene Antiseptic Cream is a dual-action, non-greasy cream for the effective treatment of minor cuts and grazes, minor burns, scalds and blisters, stings and insect bites, spots and chapped or rough skin. It contains two active ingredients: chlorhexidine gluconate and phenol, which are both antiseptics and prevent infection. Phenol also has a soothing local anaesthetic effect that helps to numb pain and relieve the itching and irritation related to minor skin injuries.
Germolene Antiseptic Cream rubs into the skin easily and its cream base helps to soften the skin and soothe irritation.
Wash your hands before and after using the cream. Before using the product for the first time, check that the tube seal is not broken. Break the tube seal by peeling from the tag. Thoroughly clean the affected area of skin with warm water (do not use soap). For minor cuts & grazes: apply the cream directly or on a dressing. For minor burns, scalds & blisters: apply the cream generously and massage in gently. Replace the cap firmly after use.
: Phenol 1.2% w/w. Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.25% w/w. Also contains: Cetostearyl. Alcohol. Light Liquid Paraffin. Polyoxyethylene Stearyl Ethers. Colours. Ponceau 4R (E124). Sunset Yellow (E110). Dimeticone. Methyl Salicylate. Water.
Suitable For adults and children.
For external use only. Avoid contact with your eyes and mouth. If some of the cream is swallowed accidentally, inform your GP immediately or contact your nearest Accident & Emergency Dept. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not store above 25¦C. Do not use Germolene Antiseptic Cream after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and on the end of the tube. If your condition does not improve, seek medical consultation.
