Daktacort Hydrocortisone Cream - 15g

Daktacort Hydrocortisone Cream contains two active ingredients, which include miconazole nitrate and hydrocortisone. Miconazole nitrate which works by destroying both the fungus that causes the infection and some of the associated bacteria which may also be present. Hydrocortisone reduces inflammation and can help to relieve the symptoms of certain types of inflammatory skin problems. The combination of the aforementioned active ingredients in Daktacort are used to treat a fungal infection of the skin on the feet called athletes foot, and another fungal infection of the skin called candidal intertrigo, which occurs between folds of skin or areas of skin that rub together. Candidal intertrigo is caused by an overgrowth of the candida fungi in these warm, moist areas and common symptoms include a sore, itchy red rash. Athlete's foot is a common fungal infection of the foot where an itchy red rash develops in the spaces between the toes. The affected skin may also be scaly, flaky and dry.

Apply a small amount to the affected areas twice daily.
Do not use for longer than 7 days.
