Care Cystitis Relief

Cystitis is an acute common condition amongst many women, which can occur at any age. It tends to manifest in pregnant, sexually active and post-menopausal women and is usually accompanied by the desire to pass urine frequently, with a degree of burning. More severe attacks are associated with a cramp-like pain in the lower abdomen even after the bladder has been emptied. Although mild cases of cystitis often improve on their own without the need for any treatment, a short course of antibiotics may be prescribed.

Care Cystitis Relief sachets contain the active ingredient, sodium citrate dihydrate, a sodium salt of citric acid combined with two water molecules. Sodium citrate dihydrate can help relieve the discomfort of mild cystitis by controlling pH levels and therefore making urine less acidic. Sodium citrate dihydrate also makes the environment in the bladder less favourable for the survival of the infecting bacteria.

Adults: Contents of 1 sachet in water 3 times daily over 48 hours. 6 sachets to be taken for a treatment.
