Dioralyte Citrus Powder Sachets have been formulated for the replacement of essential body water and salts in the treatment of acute diarrhoea in infants, children and adults. Early use is important to avoid dehydration, particularly in young and elderly individuals.

Your body requires an optimal balance of water and electrolytes (mineral salts) for its general health and well-being. Diarrhoea can cause your body to lose water and important electrolytes (mineral salts). This can cause you to become dehydrated. Dioralyte is the number one selling rehydration therapy. It is clinically proven to provide fast and effective replacement of electrolytes and treats the dehydration which a bout of diarrhoea can cause.
Dioralyte Citrus Powder Sachets work by replacing the water and salts lost from your body when you have diarrhoea. It helps the watery stools return to normal. Dioralyte Citrus contains glucose anhydrous 3.56g and the salts of sodium chloride 0.47g, potassium chloride 0.3g, and disodium hydrogen citrate 0.53g.
Usage
Empty the contents of 1 sachet into a glass. Add 200 ml (7 fl oz) of water. Stir until the powder dissolves. Adults - One or two sachet after each loose stool. Children - One sachet after each loose stool. Babies up to ywo years - to be given under the guidance of a doctor

Cautions/Allergies
Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use the expiry date which is stated on the carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Do not store above 25ªC. Protect from moisture. Store in a cool dry place. The drink should be made up just before it is going to be taken. Throw away any remaining drink after 1 hour (or 24 hours if stored in a refrigerator).
