Strepsils Extra Strength Blackcurrant Lozenges have been formulated to provide effective relief from the discomfort of the sharper pain associated with a medium to more troublesome sore throat.
Description
Strepsils Extra Strength Blackcurrant Lozenges contains the active ingredient hexylresorcinol 2.4mg, which is an antiseptic that also has local anaesthetic properties. Hexylresorcinol's anaesthetic action helps numb the pain, while its antiseptic action kills the bacteria that may be associated with mouth and throat infections.The action of sucking on these the soothing blackcurrant flavoured lozenges allows the active ingredient to work in the area of the discomfort and also helps lubricate and soothe the painful area. This helps relieve the soreness and discomfort of the mouth and throat.
Usage
Adults and children over the age of 6 years: Dissolve 1 lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours. No more than 12 lozenges per day
