Description
Nurofen Cold and Flu Relief tablets have been specifically formulated to provide powerful cold and flu relief. Each tablet helps to tackle tough cold and flu and is suitable for adults and children over the age of twelve years.
Nurofen Cold & Flu Relief tablets contain ibuprofen and phenylephrine hydrocholoride, which are effective in relieving the symptoms associated with cold and flu, including relief of aches and pains, sore throats, headache, nasal congestion and lowering of temperature. Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and is effective against aches and pains (including headache), swelling and can also reduce a fever. Phenylephrine hydrocholoride is a nasal decongestant which reduces swelling in the passages of the nose, relieving nasal congestion and reducing the pressure which may cause a headache.

Usage
Dosage:For oral administration and short-term use only.Adults, the elderly and children aged 12 years and over:Swallow 2 tablets with water every 8 hours.Do not chew the tablets.Leave at least 4 hours between doses.Do not take more than 6 tablets in any 24 hours.Do not give to children under 12 years of age.If symptoms persist or worsen, if new symptoms occur, or if the product is required for more than 10 days, consult your doctor.
Ingredients
Each tablet contains the active ingredients ibuprofen (200mg) and phenylephrine hydrochloride (5mg). The other ingredients are cellulose, sodium starch glycoate, hypromellose,magnesium stearate, talc, Mastercote yellow (contains Hydroxypropylmethyl Cellulose (E464), Titanium Dioxide (E171), Quinoline Aluminium Lake (E104) and Sunset Yellow Aluminium Lake (E110)) and black printing ink (contains shellac, iron oxide black (E172) and propylene glycol)
