Benylin Mucus Cough Night

When you're suffering from a cough and a cold at night, you often have a blocked up nose, which can make breathing difficult. Benylin Mucus Cough Night thins and loosens chest mucus so you can get rid of it when you cough, relieving that uncomfortable, weighty feeling on the chest and helping you to sleep better.

Benylin Mucus Cough Night contains the active ingredients guaifenesin, levomenthol and diphenhydramine. Guaifenesin works to thin and loosen chest mucus, whilst levomenthol further helps to relieve congestion. Diphenhydramine aids a restful sleep, helping your body to recover.

Dose: For oral use only.
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: Two 5 ml spoonfuls at bedtime followed by two 5ml spoonfuls every 6 hours, as required.
Do not use more than 4 doses in 24 hours.

The active ingredients in 5 ml of Benylin Mucus Cough Night are: 14 mg Diphenhydramine hydrochloride, 100 mg Guaifenesin and 1.1 mg Levomenthol. Other ingredients are: Liquid glucose, sucrose, ethanol, glycerol, sodium citrate, saccharin sodium, citric acid monohydrate, sodium benzoate (E211), caramel (E150), raspberry essence, natural sweetness enhancer, carbomer, Ponceau 4R (E124) and water

Adults and children over the age of 12 years.

Do not exceed the stated dose.
As with all similar medicines, if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.
Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist for more than 7 days.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Not suitable for children under the age of 12 years.
This medicine may cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery and avoid alcoholic drink.
