These days, the modern lifestyle does not always make it easy to eat the recommended daily amount of fibre. Those individuals leading stressful or busy lives may opt for more convenient ready-made meals and fast-food takeaways, which typically contain less fibre. Over time, this type of diet may cause constipation.
Fybogel Lemon Sachets are an easy way to increase the fibre in your diet, helping your digestive system work more efficiently and gently relieving constipation without straining, discomfort or unnatural urgency. Fibre is good for digestion because it helps to maintain regularity and adds bulk to stools, making them easier to pass. To stay 'regular' in the long term, increasing your fibre intake is advisable. In the short term, sometimes a constipation remedy may be required to rectify the immediate problem.

Mix and take with water. Adults & children over 12 years: take 1 sachet morning and evening, or as advised by a medical practitioner. Children aged 6 - 12 years: take half a sachet, morning and evening, or as advised by a medical practitioner. Not advised for children under 6 years of age, unless determined by a medical practitioner.

Each single dose sachet contains 3.5g Ispaghula Husk. Other ingredients are potassium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, riboflavin sodium phosphate, aspartame (E951), Lemon flavour no. 1, Lemon flavour no.2, saccharin sodium, polysorbate 80 and silica colloidal anhydrous.

Suitable For adults and children over the age of 12 years.

Do not take if you are suffering from a blockage of the bowel wall (intestinal obstruction of faecal impaction) or muscle weakness of the bowel wall (clonic atony). Not suitable for those with phenylketonuria, as the product is sweetened with aspartame. Do not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Due to the increased fibre intake of your diet, you may experience flatulence or bloating during the first few days. Do not use after the expiry date. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
