Germoloids Suppositories - 24

Germoloids Suppositories provide fast and effective relief from symptoms associated with haemorrhoids, which include pain, swelling, irritation and itching. Haemorrhoids (also known as piles) are swollen or enlarged blood vessels, which can cause discomfort, itching and irritation, particularly after a bowel movement. They may be either internal (inside the anus) or external (outside the anus). The Germoloids suppository base acts as both a lubricant and emollient to help the passing of stools and reduce straining during bowel movement which is bad for haemorrhoids.
Germoloids Suppositories contain two active substances, zinc oxide 283.5mg and lidocaine hydrochloride 13.2mg. Zinc oxide helps to shrink swelling and soothe and protect the area around the anus from damage. Zinc oxide also has mild antiseptic properties. Lidocaine hydrochloride is a local anaesthetic, which helps to soothe swelling, pain and irritation and relieve itching.

Wash your hands before and after using the suppository. Gently clean and dry the area around the anus. Pop one suppository from the blister pack. Insert into the anus (round end first), when you go to bed at night and one in the morning, preferably after a bowel movement. If necessary the suppositories maybe used at any time during the day, with a minimum of 3 - 4 hours between suppositories. Do not use more than 4 suppositories in a 24 hour period.

: Zinc Oxide (283.5mg). Lidocaine Hydrochloride (13.2mg). Also contains: Methyl Salcylate. Glyceryl Tristerate & a fat suppository base.

Suitable For adults and children over the age of 12 years.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not store above 25¦C. Do not use suppositories after expiry date, which is stated on both the external packaging and blister pack.
