Infacol is a sugar and alcohol free, oral suspension for the relief of infant colic, wind and griping pain. It is suitable to use from birth onwards.
Colic is a common yet poorly understood condition, which affects up to one in five babies. Colic tends to begin within the first few weeks of life but often stops by the time the baby is between four to six months of age. If your baby cries excessively, but is otherwise healthy and feeding well, it's likely that he/she has colic.
Infacol is clinically proven to help reduce the severity of crying episodes related to colic. It contains the active ingredient simethicone, an antiflatulent that breaks up gas bubbles to ensure gas is easier to eliminate. Simethicone does not get absorbed into your baby's body but works to relieve wind, infant colic and griping pain.
Each bottle of Infacol contains enough sugar free liquid for up to 100 doses. It can be used from birth onwards, unlike gripe waters, which are only suitable for babies of one month old, or over. Infacol also includes a handy integrated dropper to make it easy to give to your baby.
Shake bottle. Fill up one dropper by squeezing the rubber end twice. Wipe any excess into the bottle. To administer squeeze the bulb and release. One dropper full (0.5ml) given before each feed. If necessary this may be increased to two droppers full (1ml)
Each 1ml of Infacol oral suspension contains Simeticone 40mg.
Suitable For babies from birth onwards.
Once opened use within 28 days. If symptoms do not improve seek medical advice. Keep out the reach and sight of children. Do not store above 25¦C.
