Calpol Six Plus Colour & Sugar Free Suspension provides soothing relief from pain and fever for young children and may be used by adults who experience difficulty in swallowing pain relieving tablets.
Description
As children get older their needs can change in all sorts of ways. That's why Calpol have specially formulated there Six Plus suspension to provide effective, soothing relief from pain and fever in children aged six years and over. This pink oral liquid contains 250mg of the active ingredient Paracetamol in every 5ml of medicine. Paracetamol is a widely used over-the-counter analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer), which can be used to ease mild to moderate pain or control a fever. The paracetamol found in Calpol Six Plus Suspension is used to relieve pain and / or bring down fever (high temperature) in many conditions including: headache, toothache, sore throat, post-immunisation fever, cold and flu and earache.Calpol Six Plus Colour & Sugar Free Suspension starts to work on fever in just fifteen minutes without being harsh on the tummy. Each pack comes with an easy dose syringe too.
Usage
For oral use only. Shake the bottle for at least 10 seconds before use.
Always use the syringe supplied with the pack.
Child's Age: 6-8 years. How much - up to 4 times a day: 5 ml.
Child's Age: 8-10 years. How much - up to 4 times a day: 7.5 ml (5 ml + 2.5 ml).
Child's Age: 10-12 years. How much - up to 4 times a day: 10 ml (5 ml + 5 ml).
Child's Age: 12-16 years. How much - up to 4 times a day: 10 - 15 ml (Two to three 5 ml doses).
Child's Age: Adults and children over 16 years. How much - up to 4 times a day: 10 - 20 ml (Two to four 5 ml doses).

Ingredients
The active ingredient is: Paracetamol 250 mg per 5 ml. Other ingredients are: Maltitol, sorbitol liquid (E420), glycerol, microcrystalline cellulose and carmellose sodium, xanthan gum, polysorbate 80, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), acesulfame potassium, saccharin sodium and purified water. The flavouring is imitation strawberry (containing propylene glycol (E1520) and benzyl alcohol).

Suitable for adults and children over the age of 6 years.
Cautions/Allergies
Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period.
