Calpol Six Plus Fastmelts are are strawberry flavoured tablets which melt in the mouth. They have been formulated to help relieve pain and/or fever in many conditions including: cold and flu, headache, toothache, earache, post-immunisation fever, sore throat, other aches and pain.
Description
Calpol Six Plus Fastmelts contain the active ingredient, paracetamol, a widely used over-the-counter analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It can help relieve pain and/or fever in many conditions including: teething, headache, toothache, sore throat, post-immunisation fever, cold and flu and earache
Usage
Child's Age: 6-9 years. How much up to 4 times a day: 1 tablet.
Child's Age: 9-12 years. How much up to 4 times a day: 2 tablets.
Child's Age: 12-16 years. How much up to 4 times a day: 2-3 tablets.
Child's Age: Adults and children over 16 years. How much up to 4 times a day: 2-4.
Calpol SixPlus Fastmelts‚ should be sucked gently until they melt on the tongue. There is no need to take with a glass of water as they quickly melt into a pleasant tasting paste that is easily swallowed. Alternatively the tablet can be dispersed in a teaspoon of water or milk.

Ingredients
The active ingredient is: paracetamol 250 mg per tablet. Other ingredients are: Mannitol (E421), crospovidone, aspartame (E951), magnesium stearate, basic butylated methacrylate copolymer, polyacrylate dispersion 30% and colloidal anhydrous silica. The flavouring is strawberry (containing benzyl alcohol and glucose).
Suitable For
Suitable for adults and children over the age of 6 years.
Cautions/Allergies
Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period.
Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
