Spicy zingy mixed nuts
 


Ingredients


500g mixed nuts 

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1 1/2 tsp. chilli powder

1/2 tsp. cumin

1/2 tsp. black pepper 

1/2 tsp. sea salt 

1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

1 tbsp. olive oil 


Method


1. Preheat the oven to 180C (fan) and line a large tray with greaseproof paper. 

2. Pour the mixed nuts into a large bowl. Combine the spices and seasonings in a ramekin. 

3. Drizzle the nuts with olive oil and toss to coat. 

4. Sprinkle the spice mix over the nuts. Toss to coat again. 

5. Pour the nuts onto the lined tray in a single layer. 

6. Place in the oven to roast for 15 minutes, removing halfway to stir. 

7. Remove the nuts from the oven and allow to cool. 

8. Once cool, store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
