Overall the values per tablet are good, apart from the above. For some reason, NATURE'S BEST decided to have 50-100% of the water soluble vitamins, but overload to 150% on the fat soluble ones. This isn't wise long term, as fat soluble vitamins end up building up in your system. They really should have capped these at 50-75% for health reasons. A very strange choice, and one that means you won't want to use these as your regular multivitamin!

We do offer a multivitamin which provides 100% of the NRV of many of the vitamins and minerals. However the NRV is simply the amount needed to prevent deficiency symptoms in the majority of a healthy population. Therefore there will always be people who need higher levels, for example those who are unwell or have a higher than average requirement.
A good example of this is Vitamin D. The NRV is currently set at 5ug (200iu) but the Government now recommend that adults and children over the age of 4 years should be taking 10ug (400iu); children all year round and adults during the winter.
I can confirm that when the level of a nutrient is above the NRV it still remains below the upper safe level for each individual nutrient.

I am pleased to confirm that all of our pots and most of our packaging is recyclable, and you will find the HDPE triangular mark on the bottom of the pots. Most councils will accept these for collection in the kerbside recycling scheme. We do appreciate your concerns regarding plastic use, however there are some very important reasons why we continue to use recyclable HDPE pots. Glass is much heavier than plastic and therefore uses much more fuel to transport. Glass is also breakable and so would require the use of more protective packaging, which is often non-recyclable. We are currently looking into alternatives to HDPE, such as bioplastics and those made from sugarcane, however these materials still have their downsides.
