Eyewise^®, High Strength Lutein & Zeaxanthin

Eyewise® Original combines the properties of lutein and zeaxanthin with zinc, vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), and plant extracts from bilberry, blackberry, and grapeseed in a unique, high-performance formula.

An important carotenoid, lutein is naturally found in leafy green vegetables and in marigold flowers, where it protects the plants from excessive sun damage. In a similar way, the body deposits lutein in the macular of the eye. Research now suggests diets low in lutein may lead to diminished levels in the macular.

Our formula delivers 20mg of pure lutein, making Eyewise® Original some of the strongest lutein tablets available in the UK.

Lutein works synergistically with zeaxanthin, another carotenoid, which we've included at 1000µg. Like lutein, zeaxanthin is highly concentrated in the macular of the eye where it plays a critical role in protecting the eyes from light-induced damage. What do zinc and vitamin B2 contribute to?
