Unlike many other garlic tablets that have been deodorised – a process that destroys the valuable allicin content and sulphur compounds – each one of our 1-a-day, easy-to-swallow tablets contain the equivalent of 3000mg of fresh garlic and 2mg of allicin. This makes our garlic formula significantly close to the nutritional profile of natural, raw garlic.

Alliin vs. allicin
The main chemical component in raw garlic is alliin. When you crush or cut a clove, the cell wall splits to release the enzyme, alliinase, which converts alliin into allicin. Allicin is the chemical that gives garlic its characteristic odour, taste, and, most notably, precious properties.

We’ve developed a sophisticated, vegetable-based matrix in our coating to mitigate any odour. Due to this unique coating these tablets are easy to swallow, and with added peppermint oil, they don’t have any unpleasant aftertaste.

We’ve chosen to encapsulate our garlic in tablets instead of capsules as it is better suited to protect the precious ‘active’ compounds.
