Vitamin C 1000mg Time Release
Longer acting Vitamin C with bioflavonoids and rosehips
Vitamin C is best taken in small amounts throughout the day and night because it is rapidly lost from the body. However, this is not always convenient which is why we have formulated Time Release Vitamin C tablets.
These are produced by a special process that retains the vitamin in micro-pellets allowing it to be released slowly after the tablet has been swallowed. This means that the absorption of vitamin C is a continuous process as the release from the tablet takes place over 6-8 hours, thus allowing the absorption of vitamin C into the blood stream to occur gradually. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen and cartilage formation, and to the normal function of the immune system. It also helps to protect cells from oxidative damage from free radicals.
This is a high strength product suitable for all adults, including the elderly, those convalescing and anyone who has irregular eating habits.

Human Beings Need Large Doses Of Vitamin C

Why do you use this product Vitamin C 1000mg Time Release ? I have been supplementing with vitamin C for many years and for the last 3 years I have been using nature's best slow release. I am diabetic and due for a blood test soon. I have cut down the dosage just to be sure the high levels of vitamin C don't affect the test HBA1c. Once the blood sample has been taken I will be back up to 10 or 12 grms per day ASAP. I also buy Cinnamon and vitamins D3 and K2 from Nature's Best. D3 & K2 are needed together and since starting on 7,000 i.u per day I have not had a cold. A recent study has shown high levels of D3 in the blood reduce the risk of heart disease by 85% (Much better than Statins!). All absolutely recommended.

Why do you use this product Vitamin C 1000mg Time Release ?Again on my nutritionist advice I took the right dosage in the vitamin C 1000mg. The slow release is very important so that it can be used slowly by the body.i take one every day and have had no cold for a full year or more.

Why do you use this product Vitamin C 1000mg Time Release ? Having suffered an extremely painful gout attack, immobilised for 2weeks and still painful in 3rd week. Took arcoxia to reduce swelling. Searched net and read up on a 20 year study that high dose of vit c reduces uric acid and consequently risk of gout. Mine is high genetically will have blood test in 3 months time and update as to whether lowered uric acid levels or not.

Time Release Vit C - Max Strength

Why do you use this product Vitamin C 1000mg Time Release ? Vit C is a major anti-oxidant but does not stay in the body long. Whilst not being as bio-available as a Lipsomal formulation this one being time release does a 'time-extended job' and is very very much cheaper! But why oh why cant they make it 5 to 10 times more concentrated - that would reduce the number of tablets I take daily!

Vitamin C is a water soluble nutrient and "lipsomal" refers to a deliver method for fat soluble nutrients like vitamin E and oils, so I am unsure why this would be effective as a supplement. There is no independent research showing any benefits of preparing vitamin C in a "lipsomal" form, so I am afraid it may be purely marketing hype over sound nutritional science.
At the present time, we cannot manufacture Vitamin C in a more concentrated form, but we feel the potencies we offer are effective and you can opt for the powdered vitamin C if you do not want to take several tablets daily.

Why do you use this product Vitamin C 1000mg Time Release ? Have been taking a couple of grams of Vit C as a supplement for most of my adult life. I cannot recall the last time I had acold and I believe the additional Vit C is a contributing factor. A friend who has a history of colds and minor ailments (seemed to be ill almost all the time) was finally talked into trying a long term course of Vit C now, after six months, grudging admits that he hasn't been unwell for the last three months.

Why do you use this product Vitamin C 1000mg Time Release ? Have taken Nature's Best products for 20+ years and take this to guard against colds, and all the other reasons I can't recall that vitamin C is recommended for. I took it through intestinal candida and chronic fatigue, and know it's good for my skin and is a huge anti-oxidant.

Why do you use this product Vitamin C 1000mg Time Release ? I now have to take warfarin on a daily basis and can't use the glucosamine product that I relied on to counteract the arthritis I suffer from anymore unfortunately. I have heard that rose hips are 'good' for arthritis so chose this product which combines the Vitamin C I like to take for good general health with the rose hip extract in hope of relieving some of the pain. I have to say that I have noticed some improvement so will continue taking it.
