We think this tastes like vanilla ice cream when it’s mixed up with milk and we’ve had great reviews about the taste not being too sweet and the vanilla not being too strong. It also contains added whey protein isolates to further increase the amount of protein and its quality.

Don’t be taken in by expensive brands of whey protein. They offer no better protein than this product contains. But beware of really cheap whey – it’s cheap for a reason, and the taste can give a clue. Slimy texture, excessively sweet and brightly coloured are all clues that it’s low grade whey for animal feed dressed up as a sports supplement for humans.

Whey is recognised as an easy to digest, high quality source of protein providing an excellent mix of amino acids, including high levels of the three branch chain amino acids (BCAA's). Amino acids are the essential components needed by the body to build and repair muscles.

Why do you use this product Whey Protein (Vanilla Flavour) ?
I bought it as a weight loss product. The initial taste is quite pleasant - if overly sweet but it has a very metallic aftertaste. When they reformulate I suggest they leave out or reduce the amount of Acesulfame K.
