Chondroitin is found naturally in joints where it helps to attract fluid into the cartilage, the tough protein that lines the surfaces of bones. Although Glucosamine works well on its own, there is increasing evidence that the addition of Chondroitin can be of benefit for some people.

Chondroitin is an expensive nutrient, and you have to read a label carefully to check the amount of chondroitin that is present in a product. Many companies boast 100mg, for example, but the small print owns up to the fact that the material is only 20% pure. At Nature’s Best® we quote 100mg of chondroitin per tablet and that’s what the product contains. In fact we use 110mg of a 90% to provide 100mg of pure chondroitin. We are the only company to adopt this clear, honest labelling of chondroitin.

Why doesn’t our product contain 400mg of Chondroitin?
At a glance many companies’ products appear to have 400mg of chondroitin per tablet. But look carefully and you will see that most ‘400mg’ products provide just 20% of this amount, namely 80mg. Why call the product ‘400’mg in the first place we hear you ask…!
