OracOmega® combines a healthy dose of plant antioxidants, (from green tea, rosemary and oregano), together with one of the UK’s strongest fish oils, to create a unique high potency product. Having recently read in the press that research shows taking fish oil supplements is of no help at all, I have decided to try taking Cod Liver Oil instead of spending more on the fish oil which we have taken for years.
We don't eat enough fish so feel we must take something in this area. This is my first order for the cod liver having just run out of fish oil, the more expensive alternative.
I cannot comment further as I have not received it yet - only ordered yesterday.

Why do you use this product OracOmega® ? My husband tried to see if it lowered his 'triglycerides' as the Dr. was always telling him to get them lower but offered no advice on what to do. So after 'surfing' for a while my hubbie decided to give Orac Omega a go. The results have been surprising and the nurse at the Dr's when doing the well person checks asked 'How had he lowered theTri-glycerides ' and she said to keep it . So I now take them as well.

Why do you use this product OracOmega® ?I use this product with Glucosamine gold and have done for many years. Recently I was put on a waiting list for a hip replacement operation and the Dr recommended I took 1500mg per day. Since the op I have continued to take the same dosage. Recently I was late placing my last order and have since run out of Gucosamine. I can certainly feel the difference today.

Capsule Not Digestible

Why do you use this product OracOmega® ? my wife takes it to help colesterol reduction but she said that the capsule covering is not digestible therefore she is not able to take it. Is it a specific way to take it in order to avoid digetive problems? Thank you for any your suggestions.

Why do you use this product OracOmega® ?
I am extremely disappointed to see that these tablets still refer to them having 760mg of omega 3 on your front page and only when you dig into the detail does it refer to the fact that you need to take 2 tablets to get this amount. Your more standard "fish oil 1100mg" tablets quite clearly refer to them having 700mg per tablet and therefore more per tablet. I am a regular buyer of supplements from Natures Best and don't like to be mislead like this !

OracOmega contains more ingredients than the Fish oil which bulks up the capsules and necessitates a two capsule a day formula.

Why do you use this product OracOmega® ?Because I currently have two broken wrists, been like it for 20 years or so, have taken this and other products for years and don't have problems with my wrists, also feel that the fish oil genuinly helps in other areas brain function etc. I do get a bit of backtaste of fish now and again an hour or so after but it is rare. I think I would prefer a one tablet form but maybe that would just be too big to swallow comfortably, it would be the size of a large marble!!

I have no problem with the product - but I disagree with the way it's being advertised.
I thought this product was worth buying as it's only slightly more expensive than the regular high strength Omega3 product (700mg), and has the added benefit of ORAC blend.
However, you need to take 2 tablets to receive the stated 760mg dose - so in effect it's over twice the cost. I think the description of the product is misleading and should be adapted to state 380mg per tablet - suggested dose two tablets.
