This is a specialist multi from Nature’s Best®, with several distinctive differences from other multis. One of the key ingredients is the well known trace mineral chromium, which contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels and per two tablets the formula contains a generous 200µg. Many multis may claim to provide significant levels of chromium but on closer inspection, contain as little as 40µg Cinnamon has been a favourite with herbalists for many years and increasingly national newspapers are starting to pick up on this so to reflect the latest thinking on this herb we have included a full 2000mg of cinnamon bark at the same potency of extract used in published studies. We have also added 150mg of alpha-lipoic acid to the formula, a popular nutrient which is increasingly the focus of ongoing research because of its powerful antioxidant properties. Other key nutrients in Multi-Guard® Balance worth highlighting include the vitamins B1, B3, B6 (Pyridoxine) together with a full 300mg of magnesium. Take 2 tablets daily with a meal, preferably one with breakfast and one with lunch or dinner. Do not exceed recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be a substitute for a varied diet.

Diabetics should inform their doctor of any supplements they are taking. This product is free from wheat, gluten, yeast, dairy, soya, nuts and shellfish. This product is not suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding. This product is not suitable for children under the age of sixteen. This product contains iron, which, if taken in excess, may be harmful to very young children. Keep out of sight and reach. Long term intake of this amount of Vitamin B6 may lead to mild tingling and numbness.

This product is suitable for all adults. This product is suitable for vegetarians. Multi-Guard Balance is suitable for people with diabetes, however diabetics should inform their doctor of any supplements they are taking.

Why do you use this product Multi-Guard® Balance ? I started taking Premtis a few years ago and moved on to Multi Guard recently. I have always been very active having a full time job, family and competing horses. I found a couple of years ago I was getting tired and felt very run down even though I eat healthily. I swapped to multi Guard as I am now 46 and felt it was a better option for me. I have had a serious riding accident this year and am currently waiting for an operation. The physio is amazed at how well I am doing pre op and I am sure it is due to my healthy diet and taking the supplements which are aiding my healing.
