Why do you use this product Glucosamine Gold ? Through years of playing varying sports I started getting slight/moderate pain in my knees. I was recommended Glucosamine by an Uncle - tried it out - did not notice a great difference - same with Glucosamine + - finally decided to try Glucosamine Gold and what a difference - I have just recently completed the Ben Nevis Hill Race and don't think it would have been possible without taking my 'Gold' tablets daily. The aches have gone from my knees and can only put this down from taking the tablets as I have done nothing else differently from what I did normally.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine Gold ? I am nearly 77 yrs of age and for many years suffered neck pains such as cramp & arthritis, particularly when I turned my head. My GP put it down to wear and tear as well as arthritis, and could only recommend pain killers taken when necessary. Since talking Gold I have experienced a tremendous improvement, in that I now rarely if ever get cramp and can turn my head with ease and without pain - extremely useful when driving. Finally I would add that my wife (75yrs) is now also taking Gold and neither of us have any signs of arthritis or joint pain.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine Gold ? I am a disabled wheelchair user due to ankalosing spondalitis. As i cannot walk i rely on my hands very much for propelling my wheelchair, transferring in and out of my car and lifting my wheelchair into the car. My fingers started getting very stiff and bent and my grip was geting worse and painful. I was hoping Glucosamine would help but was sceptical. Now after 6 weeks of tablets I am delighted to find my hands much more flexible and also my grip is back to how it was a few years ago. Delighted and i am still taking the tablets. Why do you use this product Glucosamine Gold ? I have arthritis in both hands and my GP suggested I try Glucosamine. Following research on the web I decided Glucosamine Gold seemed to offer what I was looking for. I have not used it long enough to have had any affect yet. I was advised by my GP that it could take two/three months before I would probably see any benefit so I will review again after this time. Only given three stars at this time as the product has not yet had sufficient time to show any results.

The physiotherapist said the the dose I was taking wasn't sufficient to provide a real benefit. I've had a 2 month pause with GG, and I recieved my parcel saturday (now monday). So, after 2 days I already have less pain. When I have taken Glucoamine in a period, I have almost no pain and I can walk without a limp. And then I forget what it was like before GG and stop taking them. Why do you use this product Glucosamine Gold ? I have always competed in sport riding all my life, playing stoolball, coaching rugby and as a teen competing in gymnastics. A few years ago I started feeling the strain on my joints so I take Glucosamine Gold. I have noticed a difference with my joints and find after many hours in the saddle they are not stiff or painful. I have had a serious riding accident this year and am currently waiting for an operation on my knee to replace my detached cruciate ligament. I am in my early 60s and have been using glucosamine sulphate supplements for over 20 years and have tried a few different brands and have found Natures Best to be the best for me. I was hit by a car in 1970 and many years later, after coping but having increasing problems with my left knee, it was discovered that I had ruptured my anterior cruciate ligament in the accident. I had 2 subsequent operations for cartilage damage and the surgeon told me there was little cartilage left and my knee was showing arthritic changes. A friend who was a medical secretary put me onto glucosamine and I have been taking it ever since. Every now and then I stop taking it and am ok for a while but the pain inevitably returns and my knee becomes more unstable, as soon as I take it again both my knees stop hurting. So I will keep on taking it, I haven't tried this new one before but took the Glucosamine Plus which was very good so am hoping the Gold will be even better.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine Gold ? I am a new customer-the reason for taking glucosamine gold is for joint and aches- also due to the doctor taking me off diclofenac-they have tried other medication (which is cheaper due to cut backs) so I am trying to find an another pill to help me move and rid of this stiffness in my knees. If you have any other surgestion please let me know. do you have your tablets in a smaller size? I find these to big to swallow.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine Gold ? I use it because I've got wear and tear in both hips. My left hip is particularly bad, very painful. My brother in law recommended I try glucosamine as it had helped him. I must say I was sceptical however I did try it and after about 2 or 3 weeks, couldn't believe the difference! There was still some pain especially when walking or sitting for a long time but it was a fraction of what it had been previously.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine Gold ? I am a very keen tennis player. But I developed a pain in the wrist. My doctor could not help much. He recommended a cortisone injection, it helped for about 6 months. I had heard a bout Glucosamine. I tried it at 1 g. daily. I can again play tennis without too much pain. I have been on it for about a year.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine Gold ? Years ago I injured my knee and then after years of ''favouring the good one', found I had problems with wear and tear on that one, too! A friend recommended I take glucosamine. I tried -and after a couple of months I did notice a difference. Then another friend who happens to be a nurse suggested that it would be more beneficial to take a glucosamine supplement that also had chondroitin. This was also endorsed by my practice nurse. After comparing many brands to get the best quality and value, this one came up trumps and I have taken it now for about 7 years. You do have to take it all the time, and it is a gradual process so you may not immediately notice the benefits ... But you will soon notice the difference if you stop!

Well the honest answer is that I do not know. I was diagnosed with some arthritis in my toes and in my knee, and arthritis is in my family. I cannot find any conclusive evidence that scientific trials conclusively show that Glucosamine etc has any benefitial effect in humans, although it does in animals. BUT, there is not conclusive evidence contrary to this so I am giving the benefit of the doubt to the doubt and intend to keep using the products. I use, and will continue to use, Natures Best because in my opinion it is the best value product available. So 5 stars for value and only three stars for use because I honestly do not know if it helps, but it's not getting worse and I hope this is due to my decision to use the product. Would I recommend it? Yes, but with the caveat already given above and my opinion that the Natures Best Glucosamine Gold is not an expensive gamble if you are a winner.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine Gold ? I have arthritis in my neck, shoulders, hip, knee and joints in my hands, so pretty well all over. I took this product over a few years, then decided perhaps I did not need them and I then suffered a lot of pain, so much that I was having difficulty walking by the end of the day. So I have started to take Natures Best Glucosamine Gold again and after a couple of weeks of taking them the pain is easing, so I will not stop taking these tablets again.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine Gold ? Because I have arthritis and have used Glucosamine for many, many years. Before we could buy it here in Denmark I got it from Germany and learned about MSM too. Then the doctore said it didn´t work after all these years so I got something stronger. This I soon stoppede taking as I responded badly to it so I wantet to go back to Glucosamine. Now it is not something you buy anymore here in Denmark with a doctors recipe but can get it a lot of places at a very high paynment - and they don´t know the MSM - not to speak about Chondroitin! Then I went on the net and found Natures best - and it had a product that contained glucosamine AND MSM AND CHONDROITIN. ALL IN ONE! And even added up with ginger - thats only good. So I am very happy about it - but you know it takes some monthes before I can report about the pain being less.
