Arthritis Of The Knees.

A few years ago I started to find it difficult to get in and out of the bath, to get up out of an armchair and kneeling in general, and an X Ray confirmed that I had moderate arthritis in both knees. I began to take cod liver oil, but on a visit to an osteopath for a back problem, she recommended Glucosamine and Chondroitin for my knees. Not really having much faith in them, but going in with an open mind, I started to take them and the improvement was amazing. In fact, at a recent X Ray, one of my knees has actually shown an improvement and is now classed as having mild osteoarthritis. I was pleased, at a later date, to discover Nature's Best as I try where ever possible to buy British, and certainly refuse to buy anything at all that is made in China.

I've been taking Gluc + Chon tabs (3 a day) for a couple of years now and believe that it may have actively improved my osteoarthritic knee joints. Occasionally take dichlofenac sulphate tabs when flare ups occur but generally feel that my mobility is vastly improved by taking this product. I can actually kneel down, with care, which I couldn't do at the onset of the arthritis. It would be even better value if this product was available on prescription - now there's a thought!

Why do you use this product Glucosamine with Chondroitin ? I started a job 4 years ago in a supermarket which involves 7 hours standing and at least 2 hours of stacking shelves. However, at the age of 40 my consultant won't do it so he suggested as an alternative to knee injections, which I had been having, I take 3 of these each day. I have been for 3 years, have had no further injections and my knee is brilliant! I cycle, which I couldn't do before and I go to the gym - something I thought would be unimaginable. My knee isn't perfect, but it's like having a new knee but without the surgery. I tried a few suppliers, but I find that Nature's Best is the best, in quality and value for money and would happily recommend to anyone.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine with Chondroitin ? In fact I use this products for my dogs, already a long time. One is 14 years old and her hips are much better, in fact she walks very well. The other dog dammaged his knee ligaments and had to be operated twice. The veterinary was not sure he would ever walk again. Now he jumps around and walks happily, he is also a heavy dog. I am 69 myself and believe I will soon start to take the product myself.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine with Chondroitin ? Some years ago now I began to suffer with knee pain, especially with walking up and down hills, stairs, etc. My knees also started 'clicking'! A visit to the doctor confirmed the onset of arthritis and he recommended glucosamine but particularly with chondroitin. Although I have some friends who are sceptical, I can only assume that the glucosamine with chondroitin is have a beneficial effect.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine with Chondroitin ? Due to the economic situation we looked at where we were spending money. One of the items was Glucosamine with Chondroitin. We both stopped using thsi for about five months and we noticed a big difference with our joints. Mainly the knee joints as we both exercise 4-5 times a week for 4-45 mins. We have now restarted the tablets and have felt the improvement within the first week. We are both senior adults and are very aware of our health.

I have been taking Glucosamine for over 7 years I started when I found out I had arthritis in my big toe and found it painful to walk any distance. I can now walk without any pain. I wouldn't be without Glucosamine and for the last couple of years have also had the added Chondroitin. As I am also diabetic I was wary of taking these supplements but on checking with my doctor, no problems. I wouldn't be without Glucosamine and recommend to friends and anyone who will listen how good I think they are. I am now 67 and retired, it would helpful if this product were cheaper as I don't know how much longer I will be able to afford to buy it. I dread when that day happens.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine with Chondroitin ? I've been taking these for years for a touch of arthritis in my fingers. Makes a HUGE difference - I could hardly pick anything up as my fingers and thumbs were so weak and painful. Now I have alomost no pain. My elderly dog has arthritis in his back legs (as they all get) - vet prescribed gluc and cond - these cost a fortune from vet or pet store and are basically the same thing! As soon as he hears the box rattle in a morning he comes to have his share - 2 for me - 4 for him.

I use the above product because my GP and I beleive I have osteo arthritis in a finger joint. My GP recommended that I take glucosamine and chondroitin as it has been proven to be effective for this sort of complaint. I have only been taking it for a week so cannot comment on it effectiveness.

When, by some chance, I forget to take these I find that the symptoms of arthritis are quite bad and as my Mother suffered terribly with rheumatoid arthritis I am anxious to have a preventative natural product to take. Although at the moment I can afford to take this product, I am 63 years of age and I am mindful that in the future I will not be able to afford it, which would be a great shame. This product, I would imagine, is used more by the elderly and it would help if this was a little cheaper.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine with Chondroitin ? I have been taking this product for a few years now. I was recommended by a friend after I started suffering aching joints particularly my little finger on my right hand. It became red and painful and sometimes would wake me in the night. Since taking these tablets it has calmed right down and I am able to write quite comfortably for a sustainable time. When I mentioned to my chiropractor that I had started taking them she was very pleased and informed me that it works on the small joints first then in time help with the larger joints. I think she was right they do work well.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine with Chondroitin ? I started taking Glucosamine when I was in my late 50s after I read that it would help reduce problems with joints. I did not have any problems then but thought that as it did not seem to have any adverse side effects I would use it in order to protect me in the future. Several years later my four year old West Highland White Terrier (Westie), Bonnie, was diagnosed with an arthritic hip which I was told was only like to worsen. I started giving her 1000mg of Glucosamine with Chondroitin (crushed to a powder) a day with her food. Bonnie has never looked back! She is ten years old now and many people remark how agile and puppy-like she still is.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine with Chondroitin ? I have arthiritis in my right hand fingers with one finger particuarly painful. I play golf and gripping the club is sometimes difficult. I am hoping these tablets will help and give me a bit more flexibility and ease the pain. I am unfortunately righthanded so fingers crossed it will help. Why do you use this product Glucosamine with Chondroitin ? I used to wake every morning with a stiff painful back, read about glucosamine and tried it. At first no great effect but then I had to see an orthopaedic doctor on another matter and found he also took it but he told me i wasn't taking a sufficient dose and i should take it with chondroitin to be effective. It did so no bad back at all now! (I take 3 tablets per day)

Why do you use this product Glucosamine with Chondroitin ? I started taking this product about 15 years ago, 1 tablet per day, for progressive arthritis in my fingers. It helped immediately. Over the years, I increased the dose to 2 per day as the arthritis progressed. I have been retired for nearly 9 years, and spend the cold months in Thailand, which did slow down the progress of the arthritis, but now I do have painful days, prefer not to increase the dose further.

Why do you use this product Glucosamine with Chondroitin ? My husband and myself both 72 have various aches and pains. My husband was recommended this product and it made a difference. I have recommended it to friends and they too have been impressed with the results.Before coming across this product I had tried several other ones but the pains in my knees were still there. Since then I have had unexplained leg pains as though my ligaments or tendons were tight. The pain was worse at night After undergoing various tests at the Surgery Nothing was proved.
