Cod Liver Oil is, as the name suggests, from the livers of cod. Fish oils on the other hand, come from oily fish such as mackerel where the whole body contains oils. The oils differ in that Cod Liver Oil contains vitamins A and D, whilst Fish Oils contain negligible levels of these vitamins but have high levels of the fatty acids EPA and DHA.
