These smaller capsules are great for anyone who doesn’t like swallowing large capsules, and we use the same pure evening primrose with 10% GLA that we use in our larger 1000mg capsules. GLA is the active ingredient in evening primrose oil and although our bodies can actually make GLA research has indicated that a dietary source can also be useful.
This product is suitable for adults and children and each capsule also provides Vitamin E at 100% of the RDA.
Many women regularly take evening primrose oil around the time of their periods. It’s also taken by people of all ages with drier skin who want to keep their skin in good condition. We offer three other products providing higher levels of GLA as listed below, although all of them are in the larger 1000mg capsule size.

Typically per capsule:
Vitamin E:	10mg	Evening Primrose Oil:	500mg
providing Gamma-Linolenic Acid:	50mg (GLA)

Evening Primrose Oil, Capsule Shell (Modified Starch, Glycerol, Gelling Agent: Carageenan, Acidity Regulator: Disodium Phosphate), Vitamin E (dl-alpha Tocopherol Acetate).

Take 1 to 2 capsules daily with a meal. Do not exceed recommended daily dose.

This product is free from wheat, gluten, yeast, dairy, soya, nuts and shellfish. If you suffer from epilepsy, consult your doctor before taking this product.

This product is suitable for all adults. This product is suitable for vegetarians.

I have carried on taking it as I feel it helps me. My diet is restricted because I have osteo arthritis and avoid all red meat and dairy produce so it helps to replace what is missing from my diet.

Why do you use Evening Primrose Oil 500mg ? Bad migraines at every period so the doctor suggested trying this daily. This, plus prescribed medicines, has helped. Only gripe would be that I'd like 1000mg in vegetarian capsules, please!
