Echinacea

Echinacea purpurea, also known as purple coneflower, is one of the most researched herbs available, with many published reports demonstrating its popularity. It is rich in numerous constituents, in particular its phenolic compounds.

Unlike most products on the market, we prefer to use a standardised extract as the extraction process ensures that the herbal product is far more concentrated than those based on powdered whole herb, where no attempt is made to concentrate the active ingredients. An extract is also more bioavailable than whole herb material since the active ingredients have been released from the fibrous plant material.
