Covonia Throat Spray - 30ml

Covonia Throat Spray is unique because it is the only dual action throat spray available in the UK. It contains two active ingredients, lidocaine and chlorhexidine. Lidocaine is a type of medicine called a local anaesthetic which numbs pain in the area it is applied to. Lidocaine does this by temporarily blocking the pathway of pain signals along nerves. Chlorhexidine is a disinfectant and antiseptic agent, which kills the micro-organisms associated with mouth and throat infections. Chlorhexidine is ideal treating various bacteria, bacterial spores, viruses and fungi.

Adults and children over 12 years: 3 to 5 sprays, 6 to 10 times per day.

The active ingredients are: chlorhexidine gluconate 0.2% w/v, lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate 0.05% w/v. The other ingredients are: citric acid (E330), glycerol (E422), saccharin sodium (E954), menthol, eucalyptol, ethanol, and purified water.

Suitable For adults and children over the age of 12 years.
