Artichoke (Ibisene®)
Highest strength artichoke extract
Our Ibisene® contains a high potency standardised extract derived from artichoke leaves. It's the leaves that contain the unique active compound, cynarin, and each tablet contains 16mg cynarin, a level consistent with published studies. This makes Ibisene® considerably stronger than most artichoke products you can buy.
Artichoke is believed to stimulate certain digestive juices whose job it is to break up fats present in the food, making them easier to digest; particularly after heavy rich meals. Many people chose to take one or two tablets if they know they’re going to have a big fatty meal to help their digestion. Artichoke also works well for bowel regularity and therefore Ibisene® can be useful taken in conjunction with Flourishe® as a programme.
The herb belongs to the plant family, Asteraceae that includes the milk thistle. Also known as globe artichoke, the plant produces large purple flower heads and is distinct from Jerusalem artichoke, the edible root vegetable

Help With Chronic Diarrhoea
By Anonymous - 19th July 2012
My wife has had problems with diarrhoea for years and so far conventional medicine has not helped significantly. I suspected that the problem might be linked to the issue of fat digestion, as she has been sensitive to different fats in her diet. This product seemed to be worth trying in order to address this issue. So far it has made a terrific difference.
