Alpha Lipoic Acid 250mg
Twice the strength of most other products and a potent antioxidant
Alpha-lipoic acid was discovered over 40 years ago and was originally thought of as a vitamin; however when researchers found that our bodies could synthesize it, the status of ‘vitamin’ was lost. However a dietary source of alpha-lipoic acid is still important and it is found in almost all foods, especially in kidney, liver, spinach, and broccoli.
For a while it was the subject of rave reviews in some newspapers, along with acetyl-l-carnitine, as it was billed as an 'elixir of life'. We don't think it's that, but we do think it is a powerful antioxidant that the body uses to mop up excess free radicals, the reactive chemicals that can damage our cells.
Alpha-lipoic acid has been the focus of a great deal of research much of which is fascinating, and far too detailed to describe here. An online search is therefore highly recommended.
This product is excellent value for money compared to many other brands.

Why do you use this product Alpha Lipoic Acid 250mg ? Using the product for some time now to counteract the damaging effects of free radicals, is an excellent antioxidant that also have recommended to my aunt who does chemotherapy.

Help To Give Me A Normal Life

Why do you use this product Alpha Lipoic Acid I am absolutely over the moon with my products milk thistle. Lipoic acid and green tea,I have a chronic liver disease which causes chronic fatigue to the point of sheer exhaustion, with the help of these 3 nutrients and I use colloidal silver water also from another web site,almost gives me a normal life, well it gives me the energy I need to just get through a normal day, I researched for natural/herbal help after I was diagnosed with chronic liver disease,and found out from people in the U.S.A,who had the same disease and suffered this same awful fatigued life. I have done 8 months of treatment. (similar to cancer drugs ),which failed but I am using these supplements daily, until I have to start a new treatment again during the winter months, thank you for giving me enough energy to want to even exist Mandi

Almost A Cure

Why do you use this product Alpha Lipoic Acid 250mg ? Because 18 months ago I had a very bad burning sensation in my mouth. Just the toung at first, then the inside of my lips wich became ulserated as did the underside of my tongue. I was at my doctors constantly trying to at least get a diagnosis.But to no avail they were at a loss to know what it was. they let me suffer like this for 6 months, and then refered me to an oral spcialist He told me I had burning mouth sindrome but here was nothing to cure it. Also different things worked for different people.Í went straight home on to the internet and 2hrs later I found out about lipoic acid did more reserch found your site and placed my first order. The order arrived on the first week in August. Within a further week i was noticing improvements by the end of the month I was doing very well.I have been taking this for 11 months now and i am finding that some of the foods I had to avoid I can now eat like tomatoes.

Helps Alleviate The Misery Of Burning Mouth Syndrome

I started taking this for the burning mouth syndrome that I have suffered for the past 4 years - while it is not a cure, it does seem to reduce the unpleasant symptoms and I will continue to take it. My dentist is very interested in the effectiveness of this product too.

First Time Trial

Why do you use this product Alpha Lipoic Acid 250mg ?I am going to try it as i am up most nights with burning and pain in my feet i have had all the tests and have peripheral neurophy in both feet they can give me no reason for this,i have read that they use Lipoic acid in germany 600ml per day and have had some sucsess in reducing pain so i will give it a try update will follow in a month or so.

Home Trial

I have a sensation loss problem in both legs which was presumed to be due to Type 2 Diabetes and subsequent neurological examination confirmed that I had some nerve damage. A Professor of Diabetes & Neuropathy suggested that I try 500 mg Alphalipoic Acid daily which is not prescribable but based on clinical trials is probably the best option to try and slow down the neuropathy. I have already completed a 90 day trial and my recent purchase is intended to repeat the trial for a further 90 days. There is no doubt that the sensitivity in both my feet has markedly impoved but I cannot at this stage positively prove that this is due to the product but I am discontinuing physiotherapy treatment which may make the trial more conclusive. This Product Lowers The Blood Sugar

Why do you use this product Alpha Lipoic Acid 250mg ? I use this product because I have diabetes type 1, but the doctors are not helpful to me and so I have to deal with this condition on my own. Anyway I would not take insulin even if it were offered to me. I find that this product lessens/prevents the pains in the toes due to diabetes I previously suffered from and probably improves my health in other ways. I have many auto-immune ailments but this alpha lipoic acid provides valuable support.
